How to Backup Parameters on a FANUC CNC System | Step-by-Step Guide

Introduction

Fanuc Sram Backup Procedure

Backing up the SRAM of a Fanuc CNC controller is essential to prevent data loss due to battery failure, system resets or software upgrades. Without a sufficient backup plan in place, losing system parameters and PMC data could lead to machine downtime and costly reconfigurations.

To perform an effective backup, you’ll require a blank SRAM card compatible with your Fanuc system. We will walk through a complete Fanuc SRAM backup procedure using an 0i-TD controller as an example – follow along step-by-step video guide so that your machine data is secure!
